About Snow Survival
Snow Survival is a cozy idle arcade game with no fighting and no enemies. You serve cheerful customers, collect cash and bring six snowy islands back to life, one stall at a time: Frost Harbor, Aurora Lake, Husky Hollow, Snowpaw Hollow, Whistle Junction and the Frosty Treat Factory. Dress up your villager, take a pet along and follow Mira's story as each island wakes up. It is free to play, with optional in-app purchases, and works without an internet connection (purchases need one). On iPhone the game has no ads; on Android it can show opt-in videos and a small banner on the home screen.
Contact
Questions, a purchase that did not arrive, or an idea? Write to apexfordinith@gmail.com. Please tell us your phone model, whether you play on iPhone or Android, and the game version (in the game: the gear on the Home screen, at the bottom of Settings). In the game, Settings › Support opens an e-mail to us.
Purchases and Restore
- The Shop opens from the gold SHOP button on the Home screen (it appears once you have started playing). The GEMS tab has five gem packs and a one-time Starter Pack (500 gems, the Snow Bunny pet and the Sky Parka outfit). On Android it also has Remove Ads.
- Gems never expire. They are spent on outfits, pets, cash packs and boosts, and they cannot be gifted, traded or turned back into money.
- Restore purchases: Home › the gear › Settings › Restore, or Restore purchases at the bottom of the Shop or on the Grown-ups page. Restore brings back the Starter Pack's pet and outfit (and, on Android, Remove Ads). Gems are used up when you buy them, so they cannot be restored on a new phone.
- A purchase did not arrive? Close the game fully and open it again with an internet connection: the game asks the store for unfinished purchases each time it starts. If it still has not arrived, write to us with the date and the order number from the store's receipt e-mail.
- “Waiting for approval” on a tile means the purchase is waiting for a family organiser's approval (Apple's Ask to Buy or Google's Family Link). Nothing is charged or given until it is approved.
- “Purchases are turned off” means a grown-up switched real-money purchases off on the Grown-ups page (Settings › Grown-ups). A grown-up can turn them back on there with one tap.
Refunds
The stores handle refunds; the game cannot.
- iPhone (App Store): request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com (sign in with the Apple Account that made the purchase, choose “Request a refund”).
- Android (Google Play): follow Google Play's refund steps.
A grown-up can open the right refund page from the game too: Settings › Grown-ups › the refund button.
Parental controls
Snow Survival no longer asks a grown-up question of its own (it was removed on 23 October 2026; an older version of the game may still show it until you update). Every purchase is confirmed on Apple's or Google's own purchase screen, so the store's own protections apply, and links that leave the game (the privacy policy, the support e-mail and the store's refund page) open directly.
- iPhone: with Apple's Ask to Buy (Family Sharing) each purchase waits for the family organiser's approval, and Screen Time's Content & Privacy Restrictions can block in-app purchases.
- Android: Google Play's “Require authentication for purchases” setting can ask for a password or fingerprint before every purchase, and for a child's account supervised with Family Link a parent can require approval for purchases.
- On the Grown-ups page (Settings › Grown-ups) a grown-up can switch real-money purchases off, which hides every price, and see the most recent purchases.
Your progress lives on your phone
There is no account, no sign-in and no cloud save: your islands, cash, gems, outfits and pets are saved on the phone itself. Removing the game removes them. Progress does not move to a new phone by itself; if your phone's own backup is turned on (for example iCloud Backup), restoring that backup to a new phone may bring the game's files back. Purchases of the Starter Pack (and Remove Ads on Android) come back with Restore; gems do not.
Reset progress
Settings (the gear on the Home screen) › Reset progress, then confirm twice (“Reset”, then “Delete everything”). It deletes your harbors, cash, upgrades and unlocked islands and starts the game again. Your gems, outfits, pets and purchases are kept. To erase everything, including gems, remove the game from your phone.
Privacy
Snow Survival stores your progress only on your phone and has no accounts. Read the full Privacy Policy.
