Terms of Use
Using Subbo
Subbo is provided by Aplogon, an independent app developer based in Sri Lanka. It helps you keep track of subscriptions and recurring payments that you enter yourself. By using the app you agree to these terms.
Estimates, not financial advice
Totals, projections, converted amounts and renewal dates are estimates based on what you enter and on approximate exchange rates. Your provider's actual charges may differ. Subbo does not connect to your bank, does not cancel subscriptions for you, and is not financial advice. Always confirm renewals and cancellations with the provider. The “How to Cancel” guides are general help and may not match a provider's current steps.
Free version and Subbo Pro
- Subbo is free to use with ads (see the Privacy Policy) and up to 6 subscriptions. Subbo Pro removes ads and the limit, and adds Spending Insights, the home-screen widget, App Lock, and backup, restore and CSV export.
- Subbo Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase, through Google Play. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Google Play account.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for (or the end of your free trial).
- The yearly plan may include a free trial (currently 7 days) for eligible new subscribers. Google Play decides who is eligible, and the app shows the trial length and price before you start. When the trial ends, the yearly price is charged automatically unless you cancel in Google Play before then. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged.
- If a subscription price changes, Google Play tells you in advance. For some increases you must accept the new price, or the subscription ends at the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play (profile icon › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions) or from Settings › Manage Subscription in Subbo. Uninstalling the app does not cancel it.
- The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment, not a subscription, and never renews. It unlocks Pro on any device signed in to the same Google account (use Settings › Restore Purchases), for as long as Subbo is offered on Google Play.
- If a subscription ends or a purchase is refunded, Pro features switch off. The subscriptions you entered stay on your device.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policies.
Your data
The subscriptions you enter stay on your device (see the Privacy Policy). We never have a copy, so we cannot recover lost data for you. You are responsible for keeping backups if you need them: Subbo Pro includes backup, restore and CSV export, and the free version can export a CSV after watching a short ad.
Trademarks
Subbo lists the names of popular services, and lets you add any others, only so you can label your own subscriptions. Those names belong to their owners, and Subbo is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Liability
Subbo is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Aplogon is not liable for missed renewals, charges, or losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
