Terms of Use

Lapso: Time Lapse Camera · Aplogon · Effective 15 October 2026

Using Lapso

Lapso is provided by Aplogon, an independent app developer based in Sri Lanka. It makes time-lapse videos: with your phone's camera, from a video you choose, or from photos you choose. By using the app you agree to these terms.

Long shoots

A time-lapse can run for hours with the screen on, which uses battery and can warm the phone. Lapso saves every frame as it is taken and can stop a shoot on low battery, low storage or critical heat, but you are responsible for your phone while it shoots: keep it charged, ventilated and out of strong sun, and don't leave it unattended anywhere it could be damaged or taken.

What you film

The frames and videos you make are yours. You are responsible for what you film and share, including respecting other people's privacy and the rules of the places you film in.

Your data

Your frames and videos stay on your device (see the Privacy Policy). We never have a copy, so we cannot recover lost frames or videos for you. Deleting a time-lapse or uninstalling Lapso removes what is stored in the app and cannot be undone, so save the videos you want to keep to your gallery or elsewhere.

Trademarks

Names of other services, such as social networks you may share to, belong to their owners. Lapso is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Liability

Lapso is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Aplogon is not liable for lost frames or videos, damage to your phone, or losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Contact: apexfordinith@gmail.com.
